Tyler’s interest in real estate was a natural evolution of a multi-decade career in Calgary’s residential construction industry. Tyler has built his real estate career on a solid understanding of homes; from their conceptual design, construction and ultimately to their completion and sale. He has been a respected and successful member of Calgary’s home building industry for the last two decades.
Being a third-generation framer and having grown up in and around the residential construction industry his whole life, it was a natural step to get into the trade right out of high school. Prior to starting full time, he worked summers building houses with his father, and in grade eleven he learned remotely while building houses in Japan. Through the years in the construction industry, he has built and been a part of his family business in the Calgary area. Tyler has been involved in the construction of starter to multi-million-dollar homes and has worked the construction on over 850 houses and counting. His extensive construction background is an integral tool to help clients buying or selling a home make solid, educated decisions.
Tyler’s home life is busy with a wife and two young boys, plus a dog named Buster and a cat named Cupcake. In addition, some of his hobbies include hosting his scotch club, barbecuing, and playing in local golf leagues around the Calgary area.
