Darcy has been a Calgarian for more than 40 years. After graduating high school he played junior hockey for the Calgary Canucks, where he captained the team his final year. After playing for the Canucks, Darcy went on to study at Mount Royal College, completing the Criminology program, while playing hockey for the Mount Royal Cougars.

Realizing how important being a part of a team was, the transition to the Calgary Police Service was an easy one. For more than 25 years he served his community, built lasting relationships and was able to provide unbiased integrity and professionalism. Darcy served both on the ground and in the skies in the Hawcs helicopter. You could easily say he’s seen every square inch of Calgary and surrounding areas from above!

Darcy has both owned and built homes throughout the city, and along with his decades long interest in real estate, he is able to provide any home buyer with the insight and practical advice from his experiences along the way. When it comes to being a Realtor, knowing how to listen to a client’s needs comes naturally as he loves matching clients to the right home and helping a seller through the selling process. Darcy believes a home has the ability to become a part of a family, to not only provide physical shelter but to grow into the setting where memories are created and stored.

In keeping with his time honored roots, Darcy and his family live in the relaxed community of Okotoks, where he spent time as a child at his grandparents home along North Railway Avenue, and where he can still be found with his dog Berkly, playing in the river and taking in all that the community has to offer.

Charles Real Estate provided a soft landing spot for Darcy, a place that aligns the spirit of the company with his own beliefs and best practices.
